About The Position

Immediate opening for a SOLO Non CDL Yard Truck Driver. This position offers weekly pay of $840 or more, with an hourly rate of $21.00 per hour and a shift differential of $0.75 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday - Saturday, with a variable start time. Paid training is provided. Drivers will be responsible for delivering and merchandising products to ensure they are well-presented and available to customers. This involves working closely with store managers and team members to deliver products, maintain displays, stock inventory, and support promotional activities. Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have verifiable driving experience in "like" equipment: 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Yard Driver Examination
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Candidates who possess a valid Commercial Drivers License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including but not limited to, pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard, but cannot drive on public roads
• Ensuring compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Maintaining accurate move and yard inventory records
• Other tasks as assigned
