About The Position

The Truck Driver - Lowboy position involves transporting heavy equipment. This role requires a strong work ethic, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The driver will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering equipment professionally, safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner. This position may require working up to ten hours per day, five days a week, with occasional work on Saturdays.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license with five (5) years' experience transporting heavy equipment.
• Clean and safe driving record with a consistent and stable work history.
• Two years of experience transporting heavy equipment, preferably in a heavy civil highway construction environment.
• Excellent work ethic.
• Ability to perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, walking, driving, and climbing.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather.
• Ability to work up to ten (10) hours per day, five (5) days per week, and occasionally six (6) days per week.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Current DOT physical examination card.
• Current commercial driver’s license with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.
• Knowledge of all applicable DOT regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Must maintain a drug-free workplace.
