About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. This role offers an average annual W2 of $66,092 and a $10k Retention Bonus. Drivers will be home daily and operate late model, Penske-maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday with a 12:15 am dispatch and two consecutive days off.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
