About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring CDL Class A Truck Drivers for local routes. This role involves yard and route opportunities, with drivers earning $24 per hour and overtime after 40 hours, plus a $1.05 per hour shift differential. The position is primarily no-touch drop and hook. The hiring event is on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, from 9 AM to 3 PM at 2509 Marion-Williamsport Rd West, Marion OH 43302. Candidates should come prepared for an interview and road test. Requirements

CDL Class A
Valid driver's license
Ability to perform an interview and road test
Must be able to drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
Must be able to work Monday through Friday
Flexibility required for AM or PM start time

Nice To Haves

Experience with drop and hook/live load movements
Experience with yard moves and trailer movements

Responsibilities

Cover various routes and assignments as needed
Route, shuttle and yard coverage required
No touch deliveries
Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
Couple and uncouple trailers
Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors
Perform drop and hook/live load movements of manufacturing components while prioritizing safety and efficiency
Maintain communication with dispatch and customer teams while contributing to a positive work environment
Perform yard moves and trailer movements supporting manufacturing operations with approximately 40 moves per day
