Truck Driver - Class B Hazmat - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. Average $81000 annually. $3000 retention bonus. Monday through Friday. Hazmat endorsement required. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. The driver will deliver automobile parts to retail stores and unload palletized freight with a pallet jack. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 7:30 PM start time. Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- The associate must be able to see and hear
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- The associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
