Truck Driver - Class B Hazmat - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class B CDL Truck Drivers. Average $82400 annually. Eligible for a quarterly safety bonus. Home daily with a dedicated route and consistent schedule. High-mileage route. Touch freight delivering auto parts to retail stores. Hazmat endorsement required (90 days upon hire to obtain). You will drive: Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks Automatic straight truck equipment Best-in-class specs designed for comfort Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all What you will do: Deliver auto parts to retail stores on a dedicated route Complete approximately 45 stops per week using a pallet jack and hand truck Perform touch freight deliveries with consistent routes and customers Operate a dedicated route with reliable weekday deliveries Schedule: Monday-Friday schedule Dispatch at 8:00 PM (varies) until completion Home daily with no layovers Approximately 70 hours per week
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required.
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Responsibilities

- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
