Truck Driver - Class A Floater - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $80000 to $85000 annually. Home daily. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. This role involves covering various routes as needed, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. The driver will unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and use a scanner to record products as they are unloaded and delivered. The schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, from 1:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with proactive notification of any schedule deviations. Drivers will operate late model, Penske-maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency is required
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
- Must be able to see and hear
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
