Truck Driver - CDL Class B - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. Average $60528 annually. Tuesday through Saturday. Home daily. Dedicated route. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Typically 4 stops and 1 transfer per route. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 3:30 AM dispatch.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
