Truck Driver - CDL Class B - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. Average $85,261 annually. Additional scanning and safety incentives available, up to $6,200. Monday through Friday. Home daily. Dedicated route. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Must be able to see and hear
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
