About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers to deliver medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. Drivers will operate late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks, equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety. The role involves consistently managing an average workload of 20 to 25 stops per week and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Penske emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and building relationships with accounts, often involving driving client-branded trucks and wearing their uniforms. Drivers are paid weekly and are typically home daily.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • English language proficiency (in order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)))
  • Work the required schedule
  • Work at the specific location required
  • Complete Penske employment application
  • Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history)
  • Submit to drug screening
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Responsibilities
