Truck Driver - Class A Hazmat - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $83200 annually. Home daily. Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. This role involves covering various routes and assignments, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. The driver will unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Dispatch times will vary depending on the work assignment. Drivers will operate late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.

Responsibilities

- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
