About The Position

NFI is hiring a Class A CDL truck driver for dedicated refrigerated regional routes with weekly home time. Routes may involve tailgate handling or no-touch freight, depending on the account. Drivers are offered average weekly pay of $1,600–$1,900, with pay depending on the account, and may earn safety, referral, and clean roadside inspection bonuses. The role uses late-model equipment with advanced technology and safety features; NFI shops maintain approximately 60% of its trucks and trailers. Drivers are expected to perform their duties safely and responsibly, comply with applicable laws and customer requirements, report equipment problems and incidents, and complete routes, pickups, and deliveries according to customer needs. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a current Class A CDL.
Have at least one year of Class A driving experience.
Have a clean driving record.
Provide acceptable references.
Meet all DOT qualifications.
Be physically capable of the job duties, including frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting; using hands to touch, handle, and feel; reaching with hands and arms; regularly lifting or moving up to 50 lbs/23 kg; and occasionally lifting or moving up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
Be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
Follow federal and/or state laws, regulations, and customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements.
Safely operate a motor vehicle and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
