Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL solo regional truck driver based in Winchester, Virginia. The driver delivers freight east of Kansas, typically traveling 2,500–3,000 miles per week with 3–7 stops and spending four to five nights out per week. Routes use a sleeper tractor and 53-foot dry van, curtainside, or flatbed trailers. Freight includes molding and building products and requires touch handling; flatbed loads require securing freight with straps and bungees and tarping, with a machine available on site. Flatbed experience is a plus. The schedule runs Sunday through Friday with an AM dispatch start. Drivers are paid weekly and receive paid training. The posting lists weekly pay of $1,860, mileage and stop pay, quarterly safety bonuses, sign-on and loyalty bonuses, and benefits. Ryder states that its trucks are well-maintained and 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at more than 800 nationwide maintenance locations. Drivers make safety decisions and are supported by the company on the road and during their career.
