About The Position
At Triad Truck Equipment, you are part of a team of skilled fabricators building new and complete vocational and commercial trucks built to get the job done. We specialize in Heavy Duty Tri-axle Dump Trucks, Tanker trucks, Utility Trucks, and Hook-lifts, among others.
Requirements
- Experience with MIG welding required
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Aluminum welding is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Ability to understand and follow mechanical drawings and BOMs
- Ability to assemble and weld steel, and operate fabrication machines in a safe and compliant manner
- Participates in manufacturer sponsored training programs and keeps abreast of technical bulletins
- Maintains a safe and clean work area, notifying supervisor with equipment or materials are faulty or defective
- Documents work performed and recommended for repair orders
- Provides guidance and oversees work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
- Follows all federal, state, and local safety regulations such as OSHA, waste disposal, proper PPE
- Other tasks as assigned
