About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic (Journeyperson) to join our team in Nisku, Alberta. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, day shift, 40 hours per week. Our technicians are the core of our business, and their skill and dedication keep us moving forward. You will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty and municipal equipment, including vac trucks, hydro vacs, street sweepers, and refuse/recycling trucks. Requirements

Journeyperson Truck and Transport Mechanic (preferred) or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
3+ years of experience with heavy-duty trucks or equipment
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory abstract
Positive attitude, safety-first mindset, and a team-oriented approach

Nice To Haves

CVIP license would be an asset (required for inspection work)

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on vac trucks, hydro vacs, street sweepers, refuse/recycling trucks, and other heavy duty & municipal equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Collaborate with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure efficient service.
