Truck and Concrete Pump Technician
About The Position
CMP Pumping has been providing full-service concrete pumping services across the Southeast for 21 years. We have grown from a company serving only the Charlotte metro area to having projects, ranging from residential foundations, commercial high rises, DOT/civil, and major industrial work throughout the Southeast. Even though we have grown to become a large/industry leading concrete pumping company, we pride ourselves in providing an "open door" leadership model to each employee. The Truck and Concrete Pump Technician will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of the trucks and concrete pumps. Inspections and repairs will be made to ensure that the fleet is both safe and reliable for service. They will be expected to have a clean and organized work area and be able to communicate effectively through work orders.
Requirements
- 1-2 years in equipment/truck maintenance or a similar role
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance and repairs
- Knowledge of electrical diagnostics
- Knowledge of hydraulic diagnostics
- Must have your own tools
Nice To Haves
- Specific experience with heavy construction equipment is a plus.
- Any relevant certifications are a plus
- Class B CDL preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Completing P.M. Service’s on both the truck chassis and concrete pump.
- Communicate daily with area manager and fleet manager to discuss tasks and scheduling.
- Identify issues and make adjustments or repairs when possible; escalate more complex issues to the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate records of lubrication schedules, completed services, and any noted equipment issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment by reporting hazards and ensuring equipment is safely maintained.
