About The Position

Team Elmer's seeks to fill an opening for a Pump Truck Operator at the Manistee plant. This position is responsible for maintenance and general operations of a 32-meter Schwing pump truck. The operator will be dispatched to specific locations on a daily basis and may drive ready mix on days the pump is not utilized.

Requirements

• Valid license, CDL with airbrake endorsement
• Clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Proven ability to work with customers
• Ability to maintain and service the truck and equipment
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from various people.
• Willingness to comply and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety rules
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly orally and in writing.
• Possess effective time management and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years previous experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Workday is spent driving the truck to the construction site and outside while setting up, operating and tearing down the equipment.
• Complete a daily inspection of the truck.
• Comply with and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety regulations.
• Undertake tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position.
