About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a music educator to teach private trombone lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment, builds positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. The role focuses on sharing musical expertise to inspire students and support their growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with trombone.

Nice To Haves

• Further experience teaching related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
