About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking educators who are skilled musicians and dedicated to empowering learners. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment and teaches private music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. The role builds students’ growth and long-term relationship with music, while Music & Arts handles administrative work. Teachers communicate regularly with students and parents, establish goals and provide progress updates, and partner with store teams on scheduling and student retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments: banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
