About The Position
The position of the Trim/Finish Line Lead is to oversee the trim and finish processes within our production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Nice To Haves
- High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college.
- 2 to 3 years of leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety by ensuring all team members adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Monitor and assess the quality of products at each stage of the trimming process, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and mentor a team of trim line workers, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members on trimming techniques, safety protocols, and company standards.
- Collaborate with production managers to plan and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of trimming materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report any issues or concerns to management.
