The Tribal Court Administrator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing policies, goals, objectives, and priorities for the Tribal, Appellate, Gaming, and Community Courts in conjunction with the Presiding Judge. This role manages case flow, maintains court records, oversees the court docket, and identifies and analyzes problems to recommend improvements. The Administrator also drafts the court's annual budget, administers the budget, pays and tracks operating bills, and coordinates judicial conferences. Additionally, they maintain training information, supervise and evaluate court personnel, create job descriptions, assist in the hiring process, and act as back-up for clerical staff and the court recorder. The position requires preparing and submitting various reports on the court's activities.
