About The Position
Seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join a well-established Plaintiff's Personal Injury law firm in the Galleria area. The firm maintains a friendly team approach and a demanding caseload. The attorney will manage a dedicated staff of paralegals and support clerks. Compensation consists of a competitive base salary dependent on experience plus commission based on the value of resolved cases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of high-volume plaintiff's personal injury litigation with trial experience
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Well versed in all facets of litigation, including Texas Procedure
- Very good case management skills
- Leadership skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong commitment to client service
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish
Responsibilities
- Manage a dedicated staff of paralegals and support clerks
- Handle high-volume plaintiff's personal injury litigation
- Drafting and responding to discovery
- Taking and defending depositions
- Motions practice
- Negotiating cases with insurance companies and defense counsel
- Attending court hearings, mediations and trials
