About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 8-hour day shift between the clinic hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No weekends or holidays. You will work at 1 S. Park St in Madison, WI. This is a hybrid position with the opportunity after 6 to 8 months in the role, to work from home at times - frequency will vary and is dependent on operational need. We are seeking a Triage Registered Nurse (RN) in Ambulatory Urology to: Provide evidence based, high quality nursing care for adult urology patients via telephone and MyChart. Determine patient care needs by use of the Nursing Process as a framework for assessment and clinical decision making. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team for consistent and positive patient outcomes. Provide education and guidance to patients and families. Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers.

Requirements

Graduate of school of nursing
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
6 months of RN experience
Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire
CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire
