About The Position

This is a Full-time Triage Registered Nurse (RN) position within the Atrium Health One Health OB/GYN clinic, serving both Lincolnton and Denver locations. The role involves managing triage boxes, specialty schedules (NST's, fluids, nurse visits), and specialized programs like Mind Healthy, Agilix, and Lactation appointments. The nurse will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and clinical decision-making to ensure a safe and positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of RN experience.
• Prior OBGYN experience preferred.
• Will be asked to become certified in NST's after hire.

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage triage boxes.
• Manage specialty schedules such as NST's, fluids and nurse visits to assist Providers.
• Provide specialized programs such as Mind Healthy, Agilix and Lactation appointments.
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
