Triage Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Gastroenterology Outpatient Kenilworth FT
About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in an ambulatory clinic setting at Atrium Health Digestive Health Gastroenterology and Hepatology - Kenilworth. The clinic offers comprehensive and advanced Gastroenterological care, including specialized clinics for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), procedures like colonoscopies and endoscopies, advanced motility testing, ERCP, EUS, and supportive treatments such as acupuncture, GI psychology, and nutrition counseling. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role emphasizes using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 1 year of RN experience
- Prior ambulatory care experience preferred
