Tri-axle Dump Truck Driver
About The Position
Louis W Bray Construction is a family-owned and operated Heavy Civil General Contractor. We are actively hiring for an experienced Tri-Axle Truck Driver to join our team and assist in the completion of complex, Heavy Civil Construction projects in the Ottawa area. This role involves delivering materials to and from job sites within the City of Ottawa (no long hauls) all year round. The driver will operate vehicles in accordance with MTO requirements as well as local, municipal, provincial and federal laws, navigating various environments including driveways, alleyways, parking lots, high traffic roadways and construction sites. Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and documenting checks on standard Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class AZ (or equivalent) License Drivers License & Clean Driver's Abstract
- Minimum of 3 years experience driving Tri-Axle Dump Truck driving (manual transmission)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the Civil Construction Industry is a strong asset
- Geographical knowledge of the Ottawa area is a strong asset
- Understanding of the ELD system is a strong asset
