About The Position

This role involves operating a dump truck, participating in pre-trip and post-trip vehicle preparations, ensuring proper equipment is loaded, and coordinating with the dispatch office. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, operating the dumping mechanism, conducting Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and completing various reports such as logs, vehicle inspection reports, and fuel reports. Employees in this position are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding business information and report all incidents or unsafe actions to supervisors. They must also complete jobs in order and notify supervisors or dispatchers of any uncompleted tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a valid pre-employment drug test
  • Must have general knowledge of oilfield equipment
  • Must have a driving record free of careless driving/accident in the past 3 years
  • The employee will be asked to regularly carry 70 lbs
  • Must be able to follow directions and be aware of all safety policies
  • Must be willing to learn & abide by applicable safety rules and FMCSA Laws
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and establish priorities
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, sit, talk, and listen. The employee is required to use hands to handle, operate or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and CDL
  • Must be able to drive and operate a water truck

Nice To Haves

  • CDL (Class A Hazmat Endorsement is preferred)
  • Preferred experience driving and operating a water truck

Responsibilities

  • Participate in pre-trip preparations of vehicle
  • Ensure proper equipment is loaded on vehicle prior to leaving the yard
  • Fill out ELD
  • Coordinate with dispatch office for job assignments, maps, special instructions, etc.
  • Loading and unloading: Picking up materials, verifying loads, and operating the dumping mechanism
  • Conduct JSA before entering job site and plan entry route
  • Prepare post trip for any damaged equipment
  • Complete logs, Job Safety Analysis, vehicle inspection reports, way bills, BBS cards, fuel reports
  • Maintain confidentiality in dealing with business information
  • Report all incidents or unsafe actions and/or worksites to supervisors
  • Complete jobs in order and notify supervisor or dispatcher of any uncompleted jobs
