About The Position

The Tree Up - Wax position is responsible for duplicating metal sculptures for Chrome Hearts manufactured jewelry.

  • Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time, some sitting, some walking.
  • Employees will be expected to repeat much of the physical motions throughout the shift that may include the use of their feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Employees will operate a variety of equipment and hand tools in a repetitive manner requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention.
  • The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs if needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience in jewelry production (wax injecting) preferred
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields preferred
  • Familiarity with wax injection and/or casting tools and equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble multiple wax patterns onto central wax runners to form tree assemblies, ensuring secure and accurate attachment.
  • Inspect wax patterns for quality compliance prior to assembly.
  • Accurately weigh and record wax components to meet production standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tree-up and mold preparation processes.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of metal castings to verify dimensions, surface finish, and overall quality.
  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to detect defects in finished goods.
  • Use precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality results.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality trends, non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and assist with enhancing quality control procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the quality control process.
