About The Position

Zielies Tree Service Inc. is seeking Tree Care Professionals to maintain powerline rights-of-way in local communities. The starting pay range is $30.33–$41.41 per hour. The position provides full-time work on four 10-hour days, with overtime opportunities when available. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen are required.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.

Strong work ethic and ability to meet performance expectations.

Responsibilities

Cut and trim trees using industry best management practices.
Use wedges, sledges, and chain saws to fell trees, trim trunks, and cut or split logs into manageable pieces.
Apply herbicide to prevent further growth as indicated on maps.
Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, and/or feed brush into a woodchipper.
Use best management practices to protect employees and the public from hazards in and around the jobsite.
Inspect tools, trucks, and other work equipment, and request repairs or replacement equipment when necessary.
Maintain good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
Commit to working safely every day.
Perform other related work as assigned by superiors.
