About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts, a leading tree care company in Charlotte, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining equipment, and effective communication with the crew, clients, and the public. The Tree Climber will work as part of a 2-4 person crew, assisting with tree removal, pruning, and preservation techniques. Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of experience in tree climbing
• Valid driver's license
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week

Nice To Haves

• Forestry or Horticulture Degree
• ISA Certified Arborist

Responsibilities

• Assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques
• Ensuring safe tree operations
• Maintaining assigned equipment
• Communicating effectively with the crew
• Communicating with clients and the public near the job site
• Delegating work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Maintaining vehicle and assigned equipment
• Following company safety culture
• Understanding and following ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Understanding of aerial lift operations
