About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts, a leading tree care company in Denver, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining equipment, and effective communication within a 2-4 person crew. The Tree Climber will assist in tree removal, pruning, and preservation techniques, while also interacting with clients and the public. The company emphasizes a culture of safety and professionalism.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of experience in tree climbing
• Valid driver's license
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week

Nice To Haves

• Forestry or Horticulture Degree
• ISA Certified Arborist

Responsibilities

• Assist in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques.
• Ensure safe tree operations.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the crew leader and coworkers.
• Communicate with clients and the public near the job site.
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist.
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment.
• Follow company safety culture.
• Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations.
• Be available to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Understand aerial lift operations.
