About The Position
Joshua Tree Experts, a premier tree care, lawn care, and pest control company in Piscataway, NJ, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber. This role is crucial for a 2 to 4-person tree crew, assisting in tree removal, pruning, and general tree preservation. The Tree Climber is responsible for safe tree operations, equipment maintenance, and effective crew communication. The company offers paid training to ensure climbers are up-to-date with industry technology and techniques.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- At least 4 years experience of tree climbing, rigging, removals.
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques.
- Ensuring safe tree operations.
- Maintaining assigned equipment.
- Communicating effectively with the crew.
- Communicating with crew leader and coworkers effectively.
- Maintaining professional image.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Delegating work to Groundman Operations Specialist.
- Maintaining vehicle and assigned equipment.
- Following company safety culture.
- Understanding and following ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations.
- Understanding of aerial lift operations.
