Treatment Nurse - LVN or RN
About The Position
We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Success in this role requires clinical expertise, reliability, and a collaborative spirit. The nurse performs wound assessments and treatments, tracks healing, communicates care plans, assesses nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing, reviews lab results, and educates staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols. The nurse may also assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Hold an active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state.
- Possess strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Work independently and thrive in a team-centered environment.
- Demonstrate a compassionate, resident-centered approach to nursing.

- Experience in wound care and treatment procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
- Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
- Communicate with physicians and families regarding care plans.
- Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
- Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
- Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
- Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care.
