About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Justice Services Director, the Court Services Clinical Lead serves as the primary point of contact and representative for Advantage Behavioral Health with the Barrow, Jackson, and Walton County Treatment Courts. This position provides leadership, clinical oversight, and coordination of the Barrow, Jackson, and Walton Court Services Treatment Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and compliant behavioral health and care coordination services. The Clinical Lead supports team operations, represents the agency in court-related collaborations, and provides direct clinical services to clients as needed. This position is based in Jackson County with some travel to Barrow and Walton counties.

Requirements

Licensure or associate licensure in the state of Georgia as an LAPC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or Psychologist with a minimum of two years of experience working in outpatient services.
Associate Licensed applicants must be within 1 year of ability to sit for licensure exam.

Full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or psychologist
Minimum of 2 years working with Justice involved individuals and/or Justice related programs
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of Treatment Court Services in Barrow, Jackson, and Walton counties, including access, scheduling, referrals, staff coverage, and problem resolution.
Provide clinical consultation, support problem‑solving, and assist with resource navigation for staff.
Coordinate clinical and administrative oversight of clinical and care coordination staff, including monthly supervision logs and team meetings in Paycom/SharePoint.
Serve as Advantage’s liaison to treatment courts and participate in meetings, staffing sessions, and collaborative planning.
Attend court sessions at a minimum of twice monthly for each county.
Maintain strong partnerships with court teams and community providers.
Ensure clinical services are adequate, appropriate, accessible, and compliant with all relevant guidelines and requirements (CCBHC, DBHDD, CARF, ASO, DATEP/HFR, court standards, and Advantage policies).
Collaborate with the team to address barriers to access and continuity of care.
Provide direct clinical services (individual, family, group therapy, and assessments) as needed and deliver treatment recommendations to court teams.
May refer to services within Advantage.
Monitor referrals, caseloads, high‑risk clients, and planning lists to support balanced workloads.
Support communication with internal programs to ensure timely exchange of treatment information including direct regular contact with Clinical Specialists.
Report client treatment data and trends to courts in a manner that is accurate, and useful for judicial decision‑making.
Ensure timely and accurate data sharing between Advantage and court/justice partners in compliance with confidentiality laws and policies.
Participate in hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and when necessary, disciplining or separating staff in collaboration with Human Resources.
Define job duties, communicate expectations, identify training needs, and coordinate staff development.
Manage timekeeping and payroll for assigned staff.
Attend agency meetings, court sessions, and training assigned to include the yearly court conference with Council of Accountability Court Judges.
Perform other duties as assigned.
