About The Position
Cool Smiles Orthodontics is looking for a strong bilingual Treatment Coordinator who knows how to connect with patients and confidently guide them through starting treatment. This role is key to practice; you will help patients understand their treatment options, feel comfortable moving forward, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. We are looking for someone who is not only organized, but also confident presenting treatment, discussing finances, and building trust with patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental or orthodontic office required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Comfortable presenting treatment plans and discussing financial options
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple patients and tasks simultaneously
- Solid understanding of insurance and treatment coordination
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Meet with patients after consultations to review treatment plans and next steps
- Explain procedures in a clear, patient-friendly way
- Review costs, payment options, and answer insurance-related questions
- Help patients feel confident moving forward with treatment
- Schedule new starts and follow up with patients who have not yet committed
- Work closely with doctors and team members to maintain schedule flow and support patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records, process paperwork, and ensure billing information is handled properly
