Treatment Coordinator at St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry
About The Position
The Treatment Coordinator at St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry is responsible for presenting and explaining treatment plans, procedures, and recommendations to patients and families. This role involves coordinating with doctors and clinical staff to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of treatment plans. The Treatment Coordinator also discusses financial arrangements, insurance estimates, and payment options compassionately, manages patient scheduling for optimal clinical flow and treatment acceptance, and maintains accurate documentation of treatment plans, patient communications, and case progression. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous dental treatment coordination, dental front office, or dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients and families
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning processes is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pediatric environment
