The company is currently seeking a highly motivated Part Time Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist to join their team in the Prospect location. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess the ability to multitask. The Treatment Coordinator acts as a liaison between the doctor and the patient, assisting in gathering information for the new patient experience, coordinating treatment plans with the doctor, and presenting them to patients. They must be knowledgeable about treatment and timelines, the doctor’s schedule, and be prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with clients. The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for providing a calm and warm environment for patients who may be anxious about affording dentistry. They also coordinate with other offices involved in patient care, ensuring referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Dental reception experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn & grow
  • Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Prospect, CT
  • A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!
  • Ability to work within current office hours, shifts to be determined. Includes up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per Month.

Responsibilities

  • Greet & check in patients
  • Handle heavy phone volume
  • Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
  • Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
  • Enter patient treatment plans
  • Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
  • Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
  • Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
  • General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)
