About The Position

Capozzi Dental Group, an office within Dental Associates of Connecticut, aims to provide quality dental and personal care in a relaxed and comfortable environment where patients feel welcomed, accepted, secure, and confident. The company prioritizes patient satisfaction and offers exceptional care through its network of professionals across Connecticut. They are seeking a highly motivated Part Time Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist for their Prospect location. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess multitasking abilities. The Treatment Coordinator acts as a liaison between the doctor and the patient, assisting with new patient information gathering, coordinating treatment plans with the doctor, and presenting them to patients. This role requires knowledge of treatment details, timelines, the doctor’s schedule, and the ability to negotiate financial arrangements with clients. The Treatment Coordinator is also responsible for creating a calm and warm environment for anxious patients and coordinating with other offices for patient referrals and correspondence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Dental reception experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn & grow
  • Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Prospect, CT

  • Ability to work within current office hours, shifts to be determined. Includes up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per Month.

Responsibilities

  • Greet & check in patients
  • Handle heavy phone volume
  • Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
  • Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
  • Enter patient treatment plans
  • Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
  • Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
  • Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
  • General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)
