About The Position

As a Treasury Specialist, you help keep Whataburger’s financial operations running smoothly by ensuring daily transactions are accurate, timely, and well‑controlled. Your work supports the integrity of sales activity and cash flow, helping leaders trust the numbers behind the business. You make a difference by identifying discrepancies, resolving issues, and maintaining reliable reconciliations. You serve with heart by working diligently and collaboratively to support internal partners and ensure issues are handled with care and accountability. You win as one by partnering with cross‑functional teams to resolve variances and improve processes. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Basic knowledge of financial or treasury reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Proficiency in Excel and basic reporting tools
Ability to research issues and apply problem‑solving skills
Effective time management and organizational skills
Clear written and verbal communication abilities

Nice To Haves

Experience working with sales, cash, or banking data
Exposure to ticketing or issue‑tracking systems
Prior experience supporting month‑end close activities
Interest in growing within treasury, accounting, or finance functions

Responsibilities

Process and reconcile financial transactions across multiple systems
Research and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliations
Generate and review treasury and reconciliation reports
Monitor sales activity and flag irregularities
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and variances
Track and follow up on tickets and outstanding items
Support month‑end reconciliations and general ledger activities
Maintain accurate documentation of reconciliation work and findings
