About The Position

The Treasury Services Specialist is responsible for supporting the Treasury Service products as well as the delivery of exceptional customer service to Midland States Bank staff and its customers. She/he should always be up to date on the enhancements and/or changes to the products. This individual will assist and provide support as needed in order to foster and sustain a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Verification of information pertaining to Treasury Service Products for both personal and business through the completion of the setup process for customers.
  • Serves as customer contact representative for the Treasury Service products.
  • Has the ability to process one or more Treasury Service products including ACH, Wire Transfers, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, Lock Box and Online Banking applications and setups.
  • Able to answer questions related to deposit products and applications in relation to Treasury Services.
  • Process or validate various reports in relation to job assignments.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of new and existing systems software and hardware.
  • Responsible for setup and maintenance of online banking profiles.
  • Assist in the instruction and training of the bank staff on features and benefits of Treasury Services, as needed.
  • Performs other duties and handles special projects from time to time as assigned by manager.
  • Observe all security, privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory regulations and requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date on procedures.
  • Assist with the review and testing of procedures.
  • Train on and support job functions within work unit.
  • The role requires occasional travel for training and team meetings, and willingness to travel periodically, to locations within market as needed.
  • May require work in a Midland office to ensure collaboration and support of internal and external customers.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Other duties as assigned.
