About The Position

Recurrent Energy is a leader in solar and battery storage project development, with a strong track record across six continents. The Treasury Manager will be a key member of the Corporate Finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller. This role is crucial for managing bank administration, relationships, loan draw packages, cash accounting, and all other cash-related duties. The position operates within a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and transaction-based environment, requiring adaptability to deal flow and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Treasury experience, cash management, and payment processing.
  • U.S. GAAP working knowledge required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products and Banking portals.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience a plus).
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of process ownership.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Comfortable working in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment; this is a transaction-based environment where requirements and deadlines are dictated by deal flow.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with loan draw process a plus.
  • CTP preferred (Certified Treasury Professional).
  • Knowledge of renewable energy and construction loan draws desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bank administration, including new bank account and user setup, maintenance, and access control.
  • Oversee bank relationship management, interfacing with banking partners to resolve issues and implement new products.
  • Approve wire transfers, checks, and ACH payments, and execute internal bank transfers.
  • Create journal entries for internal bank transfers, interest accruals, and amortization of financing costs.
  • Prepare bank account reconciliations and manage outstanding items.
  • Approve new vendor setups and verify payment details.
  • Support weekly cash positioning and forecasting.
  • Prepare new letters of credit and maintain forecast and capacity reports.
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly loan draw packages and loan term conversions.
  • Review new credit and depositary agreements to identify treasury-related obligations.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX controls, including record keeping and data testing.
  • Recommend process and controls improvements and identify cost-saving opportunities in Treasury.
  • Assist with inquiries from Accounting, Tax, Project Finance, and other business units.
  • Lead or assist with special projects such as outsourced checks, payment automation, and electronic bank statements.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams including AP, Accounting, FP&A, Project Finance, and Legal.
  • Engage significantly with external parties including lenders, bank officers, and auditors.
