About The Position

Old National Bank, a regional powerhouse with over $70 billion in assets, is seeking a motivated Treasury Management Market Manager. This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of Treasury Management Consultants and Analysts within an assigned market or region, aligning to an area of expertise or client segmentation. The position drives sales execution, revenue growth, deposit generation, client retention, and strategic treasury management initiatives. The TM Market Manager partners closely with Commercial Banking leaders and other business partners to deliver comprehensive treasury solutions, deepen client relationships, and achieve organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include coaching, performance management, talent development, sales effectiveness, collaboration, and execution of strategic priorities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Finance, Economics, Accounting) or equivalent experience.
  • High School diploma/GED with relevant experience.
  • Seven (7) or more years of Banking and/or Treasury Management experience.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop and mentor others ensuring established performance metrics are consistently achieved.
  • Ability to manage matters that may have additional complexity or uncertainty, and adapt to new and different circumstances, including managing TMCs and/or TMAs with different work styles.
  • Proven experience as a change agent leader and in improving the results and quality of teams managed.
  • Proven ability to develop and drive new business in Commercial Banking segments.
  • Strategic market development skills and excellent strategic sales skills.
  • Strong management acumen with the ability to effectively lead a diverse sales team to new performance levels.
  • Ability to function effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced and complex environment as an individual contributor and leader.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills.
  • Must be a highly motivated leader and be able to motivate her/his team and peers and influence partners in other areas to achieve assigned region and corporate goals.
  • Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Windows, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience developing and successfully implementing client retention strategies.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, implement feedback, and take action; accepts ownership, accountability and responsibility for all assigned activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the market Treasury Management sales strategy with Treasury Management Consultants (TMCs) to achieve revenue, fee income, deposit, and client acquisition goals.
  • Ensure Treasury Management Analysts (TMAs) actively engage and contribute to the sales process by proactively identifying new business opportunities and delivering on cross-sell efforts across the TM product suite.
  • Drive pipeline management and sales execution activities across the TMC and TMA teams.
  • Monitor TMC production performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • Manage the TMAs to consistently contribute to achieving team revenue targets and supporting the continued growth of the Treasury Management business.
  • Partner with Commercial Banking leadership to develop market growth plans and deepen existing client relationships.
  • Promote proactive calling efforts, referral generation, and treasury solution penetration.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing Treasury Management (TMC and TMA) professionals.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, review performance, and development planning discussions.
  • Build bench strength and succession plans to support future organizational growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support through organizational and business changes.
  • Create excellent client experiences while complying with bank risk policies and procedures.
  • Ensure TMC/TMA team members understand client needs in terms of daily operations, cash application, cash conversion and working capital outcomes.
  • Ensure TMC/TMA team members work on selling capabilities that are feasible and within the scope and features of our systems and processes to meet client needs.
  • Commit to creating a consistent top client experience and synchronization between “what was sold”, “what the client expects” and “what the client experiences”.
  • Monitor significant client issues, uphold and emphasize proper escalation processes and “own” the outcomes of issues around significant clients.
