About The Position

Stifel’s Bank and Trust companies provide lending and trust services in support of relationships between the firm’s advisors and their clients. The Treasury Management Intern will gain hands-on experience with bank treasury functions, including assisting with system conversions, data migration, and implementation of a new bank treasury platform. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside treasury professionals and learn about processes and functions within the banking and financial services industries.

Requirements

• Pursuing a college degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
• Ability to combine information to form general rules or conclusions.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Responsibilities

• Learn various job functions within the financial services industry.
• Apply academic knowledge and develop new skills by contributing to projects.
• Research legal, regulatory, and other topics relevant to the functional area and industry.
• Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies.
• Assist in preparing reports.
• Contribute to projects that support the business and learn about banking processes and functions.
• Assist with system conversions, data migration, and implementation of a new bank treasury platform.
