About The Position

As a Treasury & Finance Analyst, you will be part of the Treasury team responsible for helping to manage Redwood’s liquidity, funding and financing operations while contributing to strategic initiatives across teams. You will play a pivotal role in daily cash management, financing operations and structured finance strategy within a dynamic mortgage finance platform. This position is ideal for an analytical thinker who enjoys collaborating across teams and adapting to a dynamic business landscape.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
1-3+ years of relevant experience in treasury, accounting, banking, or financial operations (internships and co-op placements considered).
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
Self-starter with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners.

Interest in mortgage finance, structured products, or capital markets preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the management of whole loan warehouse lines, including funding requests, reconciliations, margin activity, and recurring reporting.
Coordinate settlement activity for whole loan trades.
Track collateral positions, borrowing base availability, advance rates, and eligibility across multiple warehouse facilities.
Communicate with financing counterparties, custodians, broker-dealers, and internal operations teams to support operational accuracy and timely execution.
Prepare internal and external reports for management, auditors, financing partners, and other stakeholders.
Assist with financial modeling, cash flow projections, and transaction analyses related to loan sales, securitizations, and other capital markets activities.
Support the analysis of funding costs, financing spreads, execution alternatives, and portfolio economics to help inform pricing and capital allocation decisions.
Help monitor market trends, investor activity, and capital markets conditions relevant to Redwood’s mortgage banking, financing, and liquidity strategy.
Assist in the preparation of management materials, transaction summaries, and ad hoc analyses for Treasury and senior business leaders.
Support data validation, reconciliations, and exception tracking to improve reporting quality and decision-useful analytics.
Help identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and improve transparency across Treasury and capital markets processes.
Assist with the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and operating metrics that enhance visibility into funding and portfolio activity.
