Growing together. Optum Bank is seeking a Treasury Consultant to assist with the design, development and maintenance of treasury, cash management and payment services offered by the Bank. This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week.

Requirements

Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience working at a financial institution or an equivalent combination of corporate bank treasury system and/or cash management experience and training
Excellent communication, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)

Nice To Haves

Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) Designations
Experience working with Banking and Payments: ACH (NACHA), wires, checks, RTP/FedNow (preferred)
Experience working with Bank Reporting and File Standard: BAI2, Familiarity with bank balance and transaction reporting
Experience with optimizing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze treasury data

Responsibilities

Participate in treasury system implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution
Gather, define, and prioritize business requirements and ensure those requirements are clearly translated into technical specifications
Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the underlying system processes and data structures that support Treasury functions
Provide servicing and technical assistance to internal partners/vendors to ensure a timely and smooth implementation process
Document treasury system workflows, policies and procedures
Become fully cross trained in Bank Treasury operational functions and support the daily treasury, cash management and payment operations functions as needed
