About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to work with a global treasury team spanning two continents and four countries. As an intern, you will support initiatives focused on cash flow forecasting, process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies that help drive business decisions at the executive level. You'll gain exposure to regional treasury operations while working on projects that have visibility with senior leadership, including the CFO and SVP teams.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Students entering their Junior, Senior, or Master's program at the start of the upcoming academic term.
• Interest in treasury, banking, corporate finance, or cash management.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and organize financial data.
• Interest in automation, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team environment.
• GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
• Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire; Nissan uses E-Verify to validate employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support direct cash flow forecasting activities and process improvement initiatives across Mexico, Canada, South America, and potentially the U.S.
• Analyze forecasting accuracy metrics and identify opportunities to enhance reporting and performance.
• Assist with cash management dashboard enhancements and automation projects.
• Support bank account management activities, including account maintenance and documentation.
• Conduct bank fee analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
