About The Position

Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their team. This role supports over 4,000 individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental illness, and traumatic brain injury by providing diverse services including housing, recovery services, employment support, and more. The Treasury Analyst will facilitate daily treasury operations, provide accurate cash reporting, assist with bank structure management, and engage in risk management activities. This position is crucial for aiding in the forecasting of cash needs and supporting other treasury functions within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or another related field required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in treasury, cash management, corporate banking, or a related finance/accounting function, including cash management, bank reconciliations, payment processing, and banking operations.
• Knowledge of the banking industry and technical knowledge of bank products.
• Computer proficiency and intermediate Excel skills required.
• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks timely.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential.
• Must be efficient, well organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day corporate banking administrative tasks, including account openings, closures, and the documentation of authorized signers.
• Acts as the internal liaison to resolve operational banking issues, investigates transactional discrepancies, and manages bank fee analysis.
• Maintains and reconciles records for all Line of Credit accounts; prepares adjusting entries as needed.
• Oversees the company’s daily cash position to guarantee all payment commitments are met.
• Coordinates short-term borrowing, deploys excess cash into short-term investments, and drives daily treasury operations.
• Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the organization’s cash position.
• Recommends and implements solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporates best practices.
• Approves all Transfers, ACH and Wire payments in the banking software, based on approved requests and following all policies and procedures for such transactions.
• Ensures that all required documentation (paper and electronic) is completed/processed appropriately, in a timely manner, and meets quality and compliance thresholds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Coordinates, supports, attends and participates in all required events/ meetings/ reviews/ committees, including ones outside of standard working hours.
