The Treasurer’s Office is seeking a Special Projects Intern for Summer 2026. This internship is well-suited for applicants with a strong interest in policy and demonstrated skills in research, analysis, project management, and translating complex technical or legal information into clear, actionable documents. The intern will assist with developing and refining written office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state statute. This role is particularly ideal for candidates interested in technical writing, business, accounting, or public policy. The position will also offer the opportunity to oversee an initiative to transition the office from paper-based records to digital documentation in compliance with County retention schedules, helping modernize record management practices and improve long-term document retention. Responsibilities may include document scanning, establishing digital filing systems, and ensuring the office’s records management procedures align with statutory requirements. Applicants should have an interest in political research, policy development, project management, and government processes. The position is primarily Monday through Friday, with flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor OR Graduate program.
