TRC Service Technician
About The Position
Holman is hiring a remote TRC Service Technician to assist fleet drivers with roadside emergencies and vehicle repairs. The role helps drivers locate suitable repair facilities, reviews and authorizes fleet vehicle repairs as needed, verifies that repairs and maintenance are necessary and fairly priced, and documents maintenance events and cost savings. The technician also supports adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and monthly performance goals while providing accurate, high-quality service. The role requires effective communication, dependable follow-through, professionalism under pressure, and a positive, collaborative approach. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Typing speed of 20–25 WPM.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in automotive or truck repair.
- ASE certification in 3–7 car repair categories or 3–6 truck repair categories.

- Vocational or technical education is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with emergency roadside assistance.
- Help drivers locate suitable repair locations.
- Provide accurate documentation of maintenance and repair events.
- Verify that repair and maintenance work is necessary and fairly priced.
- Review and authorize fleet vehicle repairs as necessary.
- Document instances where cost savings are realized.
- Ensure that the appropriate preventive maintenance schedule is followed.
- Maintain monthly metrics at or above established goals.
- Complete transactions accurately while providing high-quality service.
- Keep managers and coworkers informed of work progress and other necessary information.
- Carry out assignments carefully and follow up appropriately; overcome obstacles to meet goals and accept accountability for actions.
- Contribute positively to team morale, maintain constructive working relationships, listen effectively, and respond professionally to change and feedback.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
