About The Position

The Nutritional Service Associate will work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend from 6:30 AM to 7 PM within St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA. Previous dietary/restaurant experience is a must, with at least one year of experience required. This role involves assisting in the preparation, service, and cleaning required for the patient tray line and cafeteria food service. The associate must understand the importance of proper food preparation according to recipes, maintain cleanliness, adhere to work schedules, and follow system and departmental operating procedures. The ability to complete assigned tasks, exercise initiative, use sound judgment, prioritize, and correct problems as needed is essential.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience required.
• Previous dietary/restaurant experience a must.

Nice To Haves

• HS diploma is desirable but not required.
• Previous experience in a hospital or extended care facility is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, service, and cleaning for the patient tray line and cafeteria food service.
• Prepare food according to given recipes.

• Carry through to completion assigned and planned tasks.
